had to return to the world of dirt and work. I spent the next 18 years setting myself up to go again. It was 18 years of missing the life but, as you say, I was better off for it. When you're young and do a re-start it sets you up better for the "golden years". I haven't found much golden about them but at least I have the funds to meet the challenges of day to day living. Had I kept going the situation would be quite a bit different. A world apart. It's the best of both worlds. Take a shot at it when you're young and if you like it, do it again later in life. To hang on to long could be a major mistake. Both financially and relationship wise. IMHO.
