Must have been Jan, 2010. I was in Punta Gorda and it was 23 degrees. Never got above 30 for 10 days. News was saying

() it was warmer in Anchorage and Thule Greenland, than in Florida. Thank goodness we were in a marina, and had an electric heater that a friend brought- cause there were NOT any available in town. Ran it 24 / 7 for ten days.
Sad really, because the fish kill was horrible.
I was back over there in 2013, and they had JUST reopened the Snook keeper seasons. Up til then it had been catch and release. Dead fish floating were actually slowing down the dinghy.
