Tom: You might consider using Ipe instead of teak for some of the work. About 10 years ago I built a new cockpit grating for the Alberg 35 from Ipe to beat the cost of teak. Came out fine and held up well, although Ipe is hell on saw blades and router bits

- Was going to suggest Ipe. I've used it a good bit as a replacement for Teak Works well, but hard.
