On any new brightwork and on my old brightwork, as I wood it. I'll be wooding and finishing the coamings before the last teak margins go around the perimeter.
What shades have you used and like on the Pettit website? I've seen some brightwork that may look too over red. But much of my brightwork is getting pretty 'blonde'. Plus I think the darker color will hide many blemishes that are darker than the blonde brightwork. Are these filler stains easy to work with?

- Was going to suggest Ipe. I've used it a good bit as a replacement for Teak Works well, but hard.
