marina are decked with it, left bare. As for decks on a boat, I would think it would work well, but have no experience in that. I've made handrails, winch bases, interior trim, etc using it instead of teak.
I built this new settee in a Vanguard last Dec to replace an inline galley. The trim across the front is Ipe- all else is teak

- Was going to suggest Ipe. I've used it a good bit as a replacement for Teak Works well, but hard.

- Left alone to weather, VERY closely. Varnished, almost a match.Hard to tell apart
