Worked fine in So Cal for several years but crapped out soon as we got to Mexico. Big pain to replace compressor in Mazatlan. Bigger pain to replace it again 4 months later in Zihuatenejo. 2nd replacement held up for the rest of the trip (6 more months) to Panama. Glacier Bay is expensive and their customer service was not good. Wish I could remember the root causes of the failures but I don't. I do the "pink" jobs on the boat and refrigeration is a "blue" job. But I seem to recall that the first compressor was defective in some way. Then the replacement was not new. After waiting 3 weeks they sent us a rebuilt one.
