I need to replace about 60 feet and think I may use less to save the weight in the bow too David. For the coastal cruising we do in New England, I don't need that amount I have now.

One thing though, I do my own rope chain splices with 3 strand, is it as easy with the braided and does the splice hold up as well going through the gypsy? It's nice to renew that splice easily when it looks ragged.
