because the windlass I bought has a gypsy for G4. I will use 1/4" G4 on the powerboat, so I am looking at less than 100 lbs of chain. The powerboat is 32' and displaces a bit under 10,000 lbs. It has considerably less windage than the sailboat does. Also, with only 2.5' of draft, I will be able to tuck into some shallow anchorages that the sailboat can't get into.
