by Bob Perry. It's a good cruiser with lots of room and a comfortable motion. It doesn't have the long slender bow like yours but I still like to keep excess weight out of the ends. Why not get as much performance/fun out of her as possible. When I first got her I, like a lot of would be cruisers, tended to load it down with every potential spare, tool, piece of junk I owned. Quite silly for a local/coastal cruiser. Now I try to be more sensitive to the effect on trim and performance. One other project I'm considering is to move my battery bank from a cockpit locker to a galley cabinet near the centerline. Besides getting the weight low and centered for improved stiffness I'm hoping to cure my list to starboard! While I'm not going to change my boat into a racer I've decided that there is no need to go slow! Best regards, David
