Same as Stan mentions. My rode and chain tend to pile up in the front of the anchor locker. I went to a larger oval shaped deck plate and can now, with a little wriggling, get my hand through and topple the chain over. A bit bigger would be perfect. Like Davids, my 5/8" 3 strand is very stiff, a more flexible rode would make all the difference.
