a few bucks but I bought a large (8 inch Bronze deck plate with "o" ring) and mounted it in the deck directly over the anchor locker. I open it up as we pull anchor and push the chain around to settle it down into the locker. Actually, I just shove it over as it stacks up in it's cone shaped pile. I used the same idea in my last boat that had nylon. I use a deck plate key and seal it up tight and I'm done. The wife was a happy camper after that. This boat has two, one for the port anchor and one for the starboard.
