I would think all chain would be a cleaner solution with the foredeck not that handy to reach quickly. You might anchor more too, for lunch, a glass of wine at sunset, a walk onshore. An electric switch up and down for most instances when you don't need to set a hook for an overnight, would just nice and easy. A rope chain rode wouldn't be as easy to do from the helm.
I think a coastal sailing sailboat, like mine anyway, benefits from the weight savings of a combination rode.
The weight isn't much of an issue with your powerboat, put the chain to 'er.
