If labor cost so much why is my boat worth so little?

The thread Justin posted and the cost to install electronics and the hourly rate Dave Gibson was charged ( $110.00 hr ) is a sign of inflation. I'm sitting in Palm Beach airport and was charged $25.00 for a bag. If I wanted an exit row it would have been another $25.00 as they now charge for them. (I can see that in a couple of years we will be charged for 'air' as there isn't any at 30,000 feet.) All this inflation and extra charges. A candy bar use to be .05c and now it's $1.20, that's 2,200 percent in 50 years. Get out the wheelbarrows

If there is so much damn inflation and everyone gets so much money why is my boat worth so little? 3 years ago it was worth almost 1/3d more than it is today and it's better today then it was at that time. I understand the price of houses as they were over valued and are now adjusting but the boat is different.

So, what the hell is going on?

Sorry,
