Young people just don't take up sailing in the numbers they used to, the abundance of used boats coming on the market from Boomers no longer willing or able to care and feed them, and the condo-izing of the water front making affordable dock space scarcer every year will erode the desire to get into owning a new or used plastic pail.
I fear she's right.
