Total cost for a dock, with power and water, including launch haul, membership and bar minimum is about $ 3,000.00 (bar is $ 255.00) And remember, that is within 15 minutes drive of downtown Montreal in an Urban area of over three million people. Anywhere else in North America it would be at least twice that... OH YA it's a DIY yard too.

If I wanted to save a few bucks, I could get it down to about 2K if I went out on a city mooring, and there was room this spring.

FWIW the clubs and marinas around here have very long waiting lists for anything over 27 feet and slightly shorter ones for small boats.
