Hi Jerry,
My last 2 trips north have been outside to Beaufort, once from Grand Bahama, the other from Ponce Inlet just below Daytona... Both were absolutely fantastic sails, and pretty much the only money I spent was for the coffee I drank, and the few gallons of diesel I burned the last few hours motoring into Beaufort...
Not many places to spend money, offshore... And, it's one hell of a lot shorter... (grin)
