I know there are some multi-spectrum LED lights out there, but they only cover so much of the band and tend to overcompensate in some areas of the visible band.

What do you use for reading, your basic "yellow" incandescent? Or do you know of something else?

Frankly I love the look of the incandescent lights in my boat, but I know that they really hog the amps too. I see a higher draw for cabin lights than I do for radar. (of course that is with all the lights on... I can shut down to just a red fluorescent and a map light, if need be.)
