I remember when we talked about refrigerators you said a 110 volt one was fine as you were going to be either in marinas or running both of your main engines A good battery bank and the upright VitroFrigo running on 12 volts would allow you to hang at anchor only running the generator or engines for 2 or 3 hours as day instead of 24. That's a lot of maintenance and fuel for only a refrigerator.
