Anyone following the series, "Driftaway,...the Whaler"?
Yeah, I'm watching too.
It's good drama.
And best of all, he doesn't know the ending....
Another snowbird I've enjoyed following is Roger Long.
Interesting link there, thanks...
I don't think he had strong plans to get too far south.
I understand it completely.
if I was a snowbird
There are several cruisers here at Isle of Hope Marina that agree with you, Jerry.
That makes alot of sense logistically.
Actually, it's Washington's Mount Vernon . . .
Thanks Jeremy!
Do you have Waterway Guide?
On the other hand, one can always try SAILING... (grin)
Hmmm, I forgot that he had a dog... Yeah, that changes EVERYTHING (grin)
Roger doesn't have a dog Jon.
Dave has a dog: Chevy (poor thing; I hope he's feeling better)
Two pit bulls and one cat, actually.
Well, then he's got no exuses... (grin)
He picked up a partner boat with a dog.
Like you, Tom, I check Dave's blog every morning
LOL! Talk about tension, try being on my end!
I like the pretzel can story
Yes, it's a wonderfull read full of
"...solitude of the Georgia lowlands,..", 13' Whaler with a 40 hp engine, do they go together?
We had planned on anchoring out tomorrow and trying it, but that's postponed.
good decision
I thought I recognized Isle of Hope
I thought your intent was to stay in marinas.
We bought a regular frost free refer.
I wonder what the difference in amps per day would be?
I have two generators, a 7.5 KW and a 15 KW.

Holes in the spectrum
Oh I hear you loud and clear...
I love the old bulbs, and they are amp hogs.
Either tungsten or halogen at near 3200 kelvin
Ambient lighting critical for computer color compensation too
Alpenglow reading lights remarkably "tungstenlike"
Check out the March Good Old Boat
They use those on all naval vessels for night vision :^)))))
Night Lighting
Imtra red/white downlights
Beautiful interior Charlie
Settees on both port and starbord
Yes, on all counts! (Larry,Westie, Dan)
Sexy interior.
Geez, no kidding! Gorgeous.
Aside from the color temperature of the light...
