of the first production sailboats. 50 years on, the new boat glitz is gone. And isn't 50 years of use, and then a review of how the boat performs today, for today's owners, a more important review today? These boats were designed for different people than who we design for today.
Anyone have a 50 year old boat to review(I do but I'll hold off )?
I bet there are some boats owned here that will turn 50 this decade. You could push the clock a little.
How about those of us with 20 and 30 year old boats. How will the next generation of owners review your boat?
What about the boats turned out today? Are they built well enough to last 50 years? Will the designs work for sailors that aren't even born yet?
Then back to the original 50 year olds. Will a B40 last another 50 years? Will it still be popular in another 50 years?
