That's a great boat. Where do you sail, Ron?

Boats change radically from era to era. A boat like yours was pretty enormous (in beam and volume) for it's length compared to boats a decade and older. For instance, the Concordia 39 was a wildly successful production boat with about 100 built. Beautiful boats but quite a bit less volume in the narrower beam and more slack bilges.

They'll never build any of these old boats again, at least not exactly the same. But I think some of the design elements from the past endure and are evident today especially in some of the custom or semi custom boats.
