I knew Ray personally, his son and I grew up together. Ray is known to have produced the first production small sailboat. The "Rebel". I believe he also produced Penguins, the Victoria, and a Sparkman Stephens design known as the New Horizon. My father had a New Horizon. it was a beautifully balanced boat. after he went out of business I worked at his plant finishing up the few boats that were still being built.
