I'm out of touch with that. But I do enjoy the history, ongoing trends today, and the future of the smaller niche markets you mention, especially those boat builders here in our area.

"Changes in lifestyle" I think is having an effect.. Nice boats abound, but the people that were their market seem to have diminished, but not only from the slow economy of late.

Price point boats from the big builders are still getting sold(I guess). It makes me wonder who's chasing who for evolving designs today, the buyer or the builder? Right now, I can understand Hinckley, Sabre, sticking with power boats.
