Your comment on the "clicker" helps considerably. Interestingly, in my earlier attempts to use the feed pump clicker, I tended to stay within the "easy range" of movement, and now I realize nothing was happening during that time.

I have no fear of dirty hands, nor of acquiring knowledge... but I do find it frustrating to not know what is normal and whether I am going down the right path. I would pay for that education.
