Ours had an impeller blade caught half way out redirecting a spray of water back at the manifold.

Good luck with the instillation. From the look of your setup you would be a cood candidate for piecing it together with bronze water pipe parts. You could use galvinized parts but will probably need to do it again in a few years. The added cost of bronze is considerable but it will never need to be readressed in the future. (I believe)
