I have not tried it against the Bosch so I can't comment other than to say Bosch does make decent tools in the Bosch line. I own the Dremel as a boat grade product that I leave on board during the season. Actually used it twice this year and it was very useful to have on board. I would not treat my Fein that way, leaving it on board, even though it is built like a tank..
