Jerry be sure to confirm two important items beyond those already mentioned.

1- Does this meter do DC in-rush to 500 amps or more?

2- Does this meter capture peak hold on DC in-rush current?

Many of the cheap meters do not do DC inrush and will only do AC in-rush of course they purposefully avid this in their literature and a quite vague on the subject.

DC in-rush is important for sizing circuit protection devices or measuring start loads or windlass loads etc. etc.. Sometimes the high voltage spikes that can fry a fuse are very short and not caught by a standard DC clamp meter as they are not fast enough to capture DC in-rush.. DC in-rush with peak hold is quite valuable as are low amp load capabilities..
