I'm not convinced...

the manual is an interesting translation from Chinese :). Reminds me of a '60s Honda motorcycle manual. Anyway, I see the LCD has min/max indications, however their function is not described, and nowhere is it mentioned how to invoke that function. My guess is there is an upgrade model that has this feature, but not this one?

Also from the manual: it is auto ranging on DC current which is nice but not really necessary (you generally know what you are looking for). However it also requires twiddling the dial to do a zero set, then back again to do your measurement. The Extech has a separate button for zero set. When doing small current measurements, the Hall sensor drifts and you find yourself using the zero set frequently.

Other than those things, it seems like a nice enough instrument. I'm trying to decide between this one and the Extech to keep onboard (boat and shop are too far apart now to share tools....).
