Up the Inside Passage. No need to sail! (Nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to sail there. If I did it again, go up the coast that is, I'd go on the outside after the north end of Vancouver Island up to the Queen Charlottes, then up to Sitka, and from there across the Gulf toward Prince William Sound...unless it was blowing from the NW, which is usually is when it's not blowing a SE'ly gale from behind you on the way up... (grin).

(What the hell happened to the winking smile icons...the semi-colon dash parentheses doesn't work. Bloody progress.)
