She was one of John Alden’s personal boats and she was built for the summer racing season of 1926. She was originally rigged as a gaff schooner, but at some point in her life, the bowsprit was removed and she was rerigged as a yawl."
Caption for this pic is great: "Flat stomach, low blood pressure, and no money" Someone definitely reliving the glory days of their youth cruising on MALABAR VII !
