OK, you can but I don't think the tradeoffs are worth it. Your dingy is too important to even think about how great it would be to be able to stow it by purchasing one with bottom like that. Unless it was your backup dingy. There is no boat that can't somehow find the room on deck for something with a hard bottom.

There are no cons for cruising with an inflatable bottom. They're all sacrifices.
