Back when I worked at Defender, we used to keep an inflated air floor in the show room to let people walk on. Even laid onto a concrete floor, a lot of folks found them 'wierd' - like walking on a mattress. RIBs are nice (but heavy) but the ones with a single floor tend to have a steep Vee bottom on the inside. The ones with the flat floor (double bottom) are even heavier. Personally, my inflatable dingy has a wood panel floor with the inflatable keel beneath that. PITA to set up, but I only do that once a season (barring repairs - damn mice).
