The purchase isn't final, but the survey is complete we are just waiting for the paperwork to arrive. Seems the boat shows in Annapolis have slowed down the process, but that is fine because we are living in Madrid, Spain for the next few years and in no rush. Job transfer (my choice). An opportunity to see Europe.
It's been 9 years since we sold Earendil and now we are ready to start cruising again. The new/old boat is in winter storage in Annapolis now. Next Spring we are planning to bring her up to the NE and then spend a few weeks in Maine in the summer. We've not done any sailing/cruising in Maine, so this seems like the perfect opportunity to see the area before we move the boat elsewhere.
I've been lurking for a few months as we've gotten more involved with the boat, but I find I can't resist now that the purchase is almost complete because I'm going to have a whole bunch of questions as I try to remember/relearn everything I used to know about cruising. We've done two charters in the last 9 years and that is it for sailing.
What did I miss? j/k
