we had way too much wind to row into at Onset to get some ice. (Ice, that's another thread,...) And Mary Ann rarely rows me without reminding me, "Remember when I rowed you to Nassau?",.... Not exactly true. I threw my back out on our first trip to the Bahamas, and she rowed me to Paradise Island. But the truth is, she likes to row as much as I do.
However, I think I may pick up a small kicker. I hate the idea of wrestling the motor up and down to the stern pulpit. I see people doing that all the time. And you know as well as I do, ALL dinghys get towed 99% of the time.
Back then when we were rowing to Paradise Island, the thing to do in inflatables was to stand up and hold the painter going full blast, like goddamned Ben-Hur or something.
