Same advice you gave me when we left for the Bahamas Tom...

and it worked out great! We towed/rowed through some serious weather during that winter. The simplicity of the system was one less thing to worry about, and we both enjoy rowing. There were a few times, however, rowing into inordinate weather/waves prevented a trip to a local town for supplies ...and I did miss being able to troll a lure around whatever bay we were anchored in of an evening. But, in the final analysis it was probably just envy - watching everyone else zipping around in their inflatables, outboards maxed out, hair blown back, bugs on their teeth, the same sort of stuff that makes a man think he needs a motorcycle.
