() A few years ago a largish J-Boat it Mount Desert Rock. The story was that they used the rock as a waypoint and ran up on it while down below for lunch with the boat running on autopilot. For that that don't know Mount Desert Rock, it isn't an isolated rock, it is an island about 1/4 mile long with a large lighthouse on it.
