I have fully integrated radar and chartplotter. However, the only waypoint I have on the chartplotter is my mooring. I never plot routes and I never us an autopilot. My chartplotter is used to tell me where I am in conjunction with radar ranges, the mark-I eyeball, the depth sounder and paper charts. when I out on my boat I am out there to sail. If I want to drive from point to point I take my powerboat out.

- Whoa Al! Do you really speculate the captain plugged a waypoint through islands and reefs, and set sail?
