Or maybe that's specualtion as well but I've heard some scuttlebutt to that effect. There's also speculation that they were cutting the rock very close, but that seems bizzarre to me as well. Why would you do that?

I'll keep my ears open but I doubt we'll hear a specific cause for the accident, beyond, captain error.
