Our B&G and the Simrad (a/k/a Robertson) go to the route line unless you hit reset.

If you simply hit NEMA when a waypoint was established, it goes back to the course line (more or less) agressively and then proceeds to the waypoint.
In order to simply reset and stear directly to the waypoint, you have to hit 'reset'.
THe alogrithm makes the correction more agressive if the distance is very short ot the waypoint.
