Yeah, I simply swapped out my old Perkins with another take-out I had found in Florida, that was definitely the route that was gonna get me back on the road the quickest... Knew I was taking a chance, but those engines are difficult to find anymore, I couldn't find any others available, so I took it... the switch went reasonably well, everything lined up nicely, I managed to keep the alignment the same, no further adjustments necessary... I'll just have to play with it for a few days around here, and assess whether it's up to making the trip, even with a minimal amount of running time...
