Didn't know you had an Autoprop. I agree, PITA to do anything with it. But I do think it loads up faster then another prop. Wonder if you don't have a fixed blade around to try? Be interesting.

The Autoprop does however push like hell and reverse is as good too.

Good luck on your trip. Hell, even if you get to the Abacos you're still in Heaven there. Warmer then the states, and lobsters are on the daily menu.
