You just can't do it. Not only won't the sail cover go on, you can't even begin to get it to sit on the boom. It doesn't always get done that neatly, but the flakes, over each side of the boom, are my only hope of managing any stowage of it.

It's really a two person(or more job) but I manage alone, with a few tricks. It's good for the sail as well.

When I get a new main, the problem will only be worse(stiff!). The best option for me will be the Dutchmen system but I'll have to wait until I get to that point before I can decide dollars and sense for all my options.
