That stretch is a beauty under sail, and the wind often dies inside. I envy you at Isle Au Haut today. The weather and winds are just perfect.

I'm no sailing purist. Like that sail, we were just out sailing for an overnight and lucky enough to go in the direction(s) the sailing is best. That's easy when you live here. In 24 hours, winds sent us on a nearly 36 nm loop, all but a few miles under sail. We enjoyed every inch and never got more than 8 nm's from the mooring.
