I noticed the couple from the UK, Fiona and Iain would get out of their roll up carrying their shoes. Then I saw the water pool around their feet stepping on the sole. When I picked them up in mine, they were surprised they could keep their shoes on.

It may have had a leak but more likely, they had towed it across the bay and and water on the sole of a soft floor dinghy is hard to remove.

BTW Gene, they call their roll up dinghy Thug(a small Ruffian, get it?). With wet feet and their exasperation with ethanol chronicled on their blog, I'd have called it punk.

But for their cruising and boat, it's the best compromise.
