Yes -- For what we do

If you had to run around a large anchorage with a lot of groceries -- or anchored out in the Bahamas (or wherever) with 3/4 nm into a landing; or whatever, that would be different.

For us, it's plenty of power.

(I toyed with getting a 4 stroke, it's really too heavy to comfortably handle on and off the boat in a chop. I can "do it" (with the newer, lighter ones) -- but the difference is on the margins. If it was a dark and stormy, or if I had a problem with an injury, I'd be screwed with a heavier engine.

For me, I just don't like the look of davits. Part of the "package" of sailing is one's self-actualized image -- if it weren't for that, you would have a powerboat, or not own a boat, or whatever. It's just me personally. I don't hold against someone else for their own view of what works for them. (Though if you have a 30' sailboat with a 10' dingy on davits with a 15HP Yamaha, I might be inclined to be judgemental ;^))).
