I've got a printer that needs ink cartridges, but I'm debating buying them or throwing it away. I don't print out that much anymore, CAD design files go digitally back and forth. Instead of printing them out, we bring them up on tablets, and phones. I can't remember the last photo I printed out. And if it's a special one, we send it someonne nearby with better printing equipment.

The Paper recycle bin I take to the dump has the least in it. When I start the barby- I have to hunt around the house for a sheet of newspaper, what happened?

They built a nice chart drawer in my boat 50+ years ago. It worked great holding charts, now, it looks kind of silly.
