• NOAA announces end of traditional paper nautical charts

        • They'll soon offer PDFs files, great for printing. It's all the other "new stuff" that's making paper obsolete.

            • No I don't but I use the service. A 3' plotter isn't hard to find.

        • Our computers range from an iPad original version to an 8 year old one.
          • GPS enabled tablets have become ridiculously cheap.

                      • Explorer electronic charts are only available if you buy a Garmin plotter.
