I don't understand

Are you saying coax and shielded wiring is dangerous to the electronics it is connected to? If so, our radios are in bad shape. Not to mention our router, our NMEA bus, etc. Maybe I misunderstand, but that is how the installation instructions have it. In fact, they specifically state to ground signal wire shields only at one end (coax, of course, is a continuous grounds).
