Still has his blog called doublereef, and posts on occasion over on CA...
Sounds like he's doing fairly well, good for him... They sold the H-R a couple of years ago, and now spend their summers traveling in Europe... He purchased a Catalina 27 last year, but I'm not sure how much sailing he's done with it so far, probably mostly puttering around with a refit... Oh, and he appears to have lost the hat... (grin)
Seems to be living a pretty nice life, I'm glad for him... He just wasn't cut out for places like this, or especially CA... (grin)

- A recent change: autopilots have gotten a LOT better at steering in the last 10 years...
