You leave out that your setup was custom. You indicated in an earlier post that you have a friend in the industry and working with him you have an AP that is designed for your boat and all conditions. Now if that were an off the shelf unit I would be more then interested. Not everyone has a "friend" in the industry that can help get the perfect setup.

I looked at several units last year for our boat and after reading about the failures and costs and needed modifications choose to change nothing.
